World Suicide Prevention Day - September 10th

Promoting suicide prevention awareness on World Suicide Day, September 10th, in the Halton region.

All proceeds go to local programs promoting Suicide Prevention.

The Live 4 Life: Concert for a Cause took place this year on Saturday, September 10, 2011.  Planning for an event next year is underway.  The purpose of the event is to raise awareness for World Suicide Prevention Day and to educate our Halton community.

This event was planned by volunteers of the Halton Suicide Prevention Coalition and CAPAOC (Compassion and Peace Association of Canada). We are a group of local mental health and addictions service providers and persons with lived experience, who educate and provide awareness for suicide prevention.

The event took place across 4 venues in the Halton Region and several musicians have donated their time and talent to support it.  Click here to get information on the artists.
